Because I love the Land so dearly…” Today, when I think back to my 17 years of donating money to help students, why am I feel so moved to see these children? Because I also have deep feelings for the cause of education! In the future, I will continue to go on the road of donating money for education.”

Words come from the heart. This is the true portrayal of Mr. Chen Weihong's sincere heart to the public welfare of education. It is the tradition of Phoenix Artist Material to actively fulfill social responsibility and devote to public welfare education. As an excellent entrepreneur, Mr. Chen Weihong always performs his social responsibility in the process of enterprise establishment and development, cares for employees internally and improves their welfare; he is enthusiastic about public welfare and has donated nearly ten million yuan over the years. “I came from a teacher's family. My father, my wife and my brother have all been teachers. Therefore, I have special feelings for education. It's natural for me to choose donation as the first choice for charity. Moreover, we can change the fate of some children by donating to help them. This is also a very meaningful thing in itself.” Chen Weihong said in an interview.
As early as 2004, due to the needs of enterprise development, Phoenix Artist Material came to Shuyang County of Suqian City to invest and set up a factory. After arriving there, they found that the living standards of the local people, especially in rural areas, are much poorer than those in southern Jiangsu. The income of many families is very low, and some children even can't afford to go to school. Chairman Chen Weihong was deeply touched, he took the initiative to contact the local township party committee and township government and expressed his intention to donate money to help 100 poor students every year. Nowadays, many of these children have been admitted to universities and found ideal jobs. Some of them have been admitted to post-graduate school and are engaged in material research and development in Suzhou.

Chairman Chen Weihong deeply realized that education public welfare can not only change the fate of a person and a family, but also have a more long-term significance in promoting education equity and social development. He set his eyes on the remote villages in the central and western regions of the motherland, helping the children in the mountains grow up better and get the same care as the urban children.

In 2008, led by Wuxi Minjian, chairman Chen Weihong came to mangnong primary school in Xincheng Township, Yingjiang County, Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province. Seeing that the school environment was very poor, chairman Chen Weihong immediately decided to donate 250,000 yuan. At the same time, the local township government invested 250,000 yuan, raising a total of 500,000 yuan for the construction of a new teaching building. Yingjiang, Yunnan Province, was affected by the Wenchuan earthquake in 2008, and a 5.4-magnitude earthquake also occurred. Fortunately, the new buildings of this primary school are intact, and the children are very safe.

In August 2011, chairman Chen Weihong, together with leaders of Wuxi Municipal Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, came to Huocheng, a poverty-stricken county in Yili Prefecture, Xinjiang, and donated 200,000 yuan for teaching materials to local education.

In September 2011, chairman Chen Weihong went to Dehong Prefecture of Yunnan province again to donate 400,000 yuan to the Central Primary School of Chengzi Town, Longchuan County, Dehong Prefecture on behalf of Phoenix Artist Material. At the same time of donating money to help students, Phoenix Artist Material also combined with the characteristics of the enterprise to hold painting talent competition in local primary schools every year, so as to improve the artistic quality of children from ethnic minorities and poor rural areas. Guan Guofang, member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and deputy director of Dehong Prefecture People's Congress, spoke highly of the way Phoenix Artist Material popularized art education in mountain village primary schools, “From the perspective of popularizing art education, Phoenix Artist Material helps the minority areas out of poverty.” Guan Guofang said.
In September 2017, chairman Chen Weihong, together with several Phoenix Artist Material executives, personally went to Jiuquan City, Gansu Province to donate 100,000 yuan for teaching materials such as painting materials for local minority children, and 100,000 yuan for teacher training funds to the local education system to improve the level of local art education teachers.
