Carry forward industrial and commercial culture and gather the strength of private enterprises. On February 18, 2019, the Spring Festival Carnival of Wuxi Chamber of Commerce at Home and Abroad was held by the United Front Work Department of the municipal Party committee and the Municipal Federation of industry and commerce. Representatives of Wuxi businessmen and entrepreneurs from all over the world gathered in Wuxi to talk about development. Municipal leaders Zhou Minwei, Chen Derong, Yuan Fei, Wei duo, Gao Yaguang and Wu Zhonglin attended the meeting.

At the activity site, led by the Municipal Federation of industry and commerce, and jointly built by 11 departments including the municipal development and Reform Commission, science and Technology Bureau, and industry and Information Technology Bureau, the Wuxi Municipal Enterprise Service through train of "promoting industrial and commercial culture and gathering the strength of private enterprises" was officially launched, which aims to further promote the "Get close to business, warm the heart of enterprises" and " Keep enterprises’ heart steady and keep enterprises’ roots " actions, create and build a good business environment, and make the development of enterprises more solid. Zhou Minwei, chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, said that opening up government-enterprise services is an act to enhance the sense of responsibility of the vast number of private enterprises and a pragmatic policy to build a close relationship between government and business. Representatives of entrepreneurs attending the meeting said that they will closely focus on the leading strategy of strengthening the city through industry, to be an enterprise close to the government and do their own business well. They will make new contributions to the construction of Wuxi and to be a leader of high quality development in the whole province.
At the meeting, Wu Zhonglin, vice chairman of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, and sun Zhiliang, vice chairman of the 13th Municipal Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference and honorary chairman of the Municipal Federation of industry and commerce, presented awards to the award-winning representatives of the "good chamber of Commerce" of Wuxi Federation of industry and Commerce in 2018.
